Fish, twenty meters from the sand

La Tavernetta sits twenty meters from the beach of Porto Taverna, its terrace open to Tavolara. The kitchen is mostly seafood: start with the appetizer of the house, then the paccheri ai ricci, homemade pasta with sea urchin. Come for an aperitif at sunset, a romantic dinner, or a long lunch over the water with friends.

Our restaurant-pizzeria in the village cooks traditional Mediterranean dishes from fresh regional products: homemade pasta, pizza, and excellent meat from the grill. Order the tagliata di manzo or a bistecca alla fiorentina, leave room for the homemade desserts, and eat on the open veranda right beside the pool.

Dinner under the oaks of Gallura

Seven kilometers from the residence, Borgo di Campagna is a farmhouse restaurant on the crest of a wide country property, surrounded by centuries-old oak trees. The kitchen is Italian and Sardinian, served at the edge of the pool or on the panoramic veranda. It also hosts weddings, baptisms, communions, birthdays and private parties.

The Tavernetta beach bar stands right on the sand of Porto Taverna, open all day from 8:00 to 20:00: panini, cold plates, salads and fresh fruit smoothies, then a cocktail as the sun drops behind the bay. The best seat for the sunset is here.

Jaga, from the Sardinian word for gate, stands at the entrance to Porto Taverna, where our family has lived and worked for over fifty years. It is our new cocktail bar restaurant: genuine, simple, high-quality cooking to share, craft cocktails made with care, and evenings of DJ sets and live music.
