Under the cliffs of Tavolara

PADI dive centres operate directly next to the residence, with dives and snorkeling on our beach, along the coast and around the island itself.

The Marine Reserve

A protected sea, minutes away

The waters in front of the village belong to the Tavolara marine protected area, where the limestone island drops sheer into clear water. Dive centres run excursions from Porto Taverna beach, from the neighbouring bays and directly at the island of Tavolara.

Boats leave from the small harbour of Porto San Paolo, a few minutes up the coast.

At the Dive Centres

Everything but the fish

Courses, charters and full technical support sit right next door to the village, so a dive day starts after breakfast and ends back at the pool.

First Fins

Snorkeling from seven years old

You do not need a tank to meet the reserve. Guided snorkeling outings explore the marine life of Porto Taverna, Cala Girgolu and other shallow spots, and children from seven can join. Masks on, faces down, and the seabed does the entertaining.
