Arrival & Check-In
What time can I check in?
From 3 pm. If you arrive earlier you are welcome to use our service facilities; if your apartment is cleaned before then, you can check in as soon as it is ready.
Can I check in after the reception closes?
The reception is open from 08:00 to 23:00. For arrivals after 23:00, please call the phone number indicated at the entrance of the reception and an employee will welcome you. If the estimated arrival time is not communicated, we have to charge a supplement of 20 €.
The Apartments
Are bed linen and towels included in the rate?
Yes, bed linen and towels are always included in the rate.
Is it possible to rent an extra bed or a baby bed?
Extra beds are not available. A baby bed can be provided free of charge on request.
Is there air conditioning in the apartments?
Yes, all apartments have air conditioning.
Is a TV included in the apartment rate?
Yes, every apartment has a TV included in the rate.
Is there Wi-Fi in the apartments?
You can hire a mobile 24h 4G Wi-Fi key that also works inside the apartments, at a supplement of 5 € per day.
Is there a laundry service in the residence?
There is no in-house laundry service, but a self-service laundry is 500 m from the reception.
Meals & the Hotel Formula
Where are meals served if I book the hotel formula?
Breakfast and meals are served in our restaurant, bar and pizzeria BBQ, situated in the panoramic area of the residence.
Can I buy meal tickets directly in the residence?
Yes. Breakfast costs 13 € per person per day. The dinner supplement, which can only be purchased for the entire stay and excludes drinks, costs 22 € per person per day and 11 € per day for children aged 3 to 8. Meals for babies aged 0 to 2 are charged separately.
Beach & Getting Around
Is there a shuttle service to the beach?
Yes, and it is free of charge. We take you to the beach and bring you back to the residence four times a day, at 10 am, 12.30 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm. The service runs from June 1 to September 30.
Is there a transfer to and from Olbia airport?
Yes, on request. Per way: 40 € for 1 or 2 persons, 45 € for 3 or 4, 50 € for 5, 60 € for 6, 70 € for 7, 80 € for 8. Night journeys between 22:00 and 07:00 cost 10 € more per way, and so do transfers to the port, the station or the centre of Olbia.
How is the beach of Porto Taverna?
White sand, crystal-clear azure water and a beautiful view over the island of Tavolara. Our facilities on the beach: the sea-view restaurant La Tavernetta, the beach bar Tavernetta Beach and the beach service.
Is the beach suitable for children?
Yes. The sand slopes gently into shallow water, which makes it ideal for families with children.
Which are the best beaches in the surroundings?
We recommend Porto Taverna, Cala Girgolu (Sassi Piatti), Cala Brandinchi (Tahiti), Lu Impostu, Capo Coda Cavallo, La Cinta and Porto Istana.
Can I rent cars, motorcycles and bikes directly in the residence?
We cooperate with several rental agencies, so you can hire cars, motorcycles and bikes, pick them up at the residence and drop them off here as well.
The Village & Services
Where is the residence in Sardinia?
Between San Teodoro and Porto San Paolo, in a small village called Porto Taverna, famous for its beach with a beautiful view over the island of Tavolara. Part of the residence is in Porto Taverna; the main part is in the village of Monte Petrosu.
How far are San Teodoro, Porto San Paolo and Olbia?
San Teodoro is 6 km away (10 minutes by car), Porto San Paolo 4 km, and Olbia 18 km (20 minutes by car).
Are there supermarkets and shops nearby?
The small village of Monte Petrosu, 500 m from our reception, has a grocery shop, a para-pharmacy, a bar, a butcher, a Sardinian pastry shop, a hairdresser and the bus stop. Supermarkets, pharmacies, shops and the guardia medica (emergency medical service) are in San Teodoro and Porto San Paolo.
Is there entertainment or animation in the residence?
No. Our guests enjoy peace and relaxation here, but we offer excursions, sports activities and more.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, dogs and cats are welcome. We charge a supplement of 35 € per pet and stay.
Is there a children's play area in the residence?
Yes, the children's play area is situated in front of the restaurant BBQ.
